Organize an event

Why organize a Jimmy Fund event?

There are lots of reasons to organize a Jimmy Fund event. Whether you are paying tribute to a family member, friend, or colleague who has cancer; you have your own personal connection to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund; or you just want to get your family and friends together to have a great time, each event goes a long way in supporting compassionate care and cutting-edge research as well as the search for cancer cures.

What kind of support can I expect from the Jimmy Fund Special Events team?

  • Our staff is just a phone call away and will always be available to offer advice and answer all your questions.
  • You will have access to our online Event Manager Center.
  • If your event qualifies, you will have access to an online fundraising page at www.myjimmyfundevent.org.

Aside from the rewarding experience of raising funds to fight cancer, are there any incentives for organizing a special event?

Jimmy Fund Special Events hosts exciting appreciation events each year. When you decide to organize an event, you will receive further details on our appreciation events and how you might participate.
