Tourney for Tim Wiffle Ball Tournament/Rockin' for Roberts Concert

Get your wiffle ball bats and dancing shoes ready for the fourth annual Tourney for Tim Wiffle Ball Tournament/Rockin' for Roberts' Concert. The wiffle ball event includes both a pro and amateur division. In addition, there will be music, food, an opportunity drawing, and activities for the entire family to enjoy. All proceeds benefit the Timothy P. Roberts Reeling in a Dream Fund at Dana-Farber.
The Tourney for Tim and Rockin' for Roberts events began in the summer of 2005 during Tim Roberts' struggle with cancer. Both events were conceived by Tim's friends and family and were tremendous successes in raising money and awareness in the fight against cancer.
The Tourney for Tim was a wiffle ball tournament organized by the North Andover Wiffle Ball League (NAWBL), while Rockin' for Roberts was a live music event held simultaneously at the same venue. Shortly after the first events were held, Timothy Roberts succumbed to cancer on August 25, 2005. The events were continued in 2006, at separate venues, as not only fundraisers, but celebrations of Tim's life and spirit. In 2007, the wiffle ball tournament and concert were reunited again at the North Andover Middle School.
