Held in memory of Taryn A. Leonard, Phenomena 2008 is an inaugural charity ball created by Boston fashion designer Blessing Mazarura to raise money for the Jimmy Fund and Mother of Peace Aids Orphanage in Zimbabwe.
The event is a retrospective celebration of design in the spirit of giving and helping the less fortunate and will feature an exciting exhibit of classic and antique auto collections and displays, as well as live music performances, ballroom dancing, and a silent auction. This evening of hope will be capped off with a fashion show featuring couture from designers Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Giovanni Valentino, and Bless By Bless Couture.
