Katie's Day of Beauty

Katie Dollard is a 16-year-old Danvers resident in her tenth year of remission from leukemia. Katie, along with her family and friends, has dedicated her time to raising money for cancer research to bring closer the day when the cure rate is 100 percent.
The 9th annual Katie's Day of Beauty offered a "Girls Glamour Package" including nail polish, "up-do" hair style, and professional photograph. Opportunity drawings and the chance to purchase event photos were also offered. The event's co-chair was Emily Dollard, Katie's 10-year-old sister.
Over the years, Katie's Day of Beauty has raised more than $30,000 for the Jimmy Fund.
