Jimmy Fund/Variety Children's Charity Theatre Program

Team up with the Jimmy Fund on a fun volunteer project this summer — the 2008 Jimmy Fund/Variety Childrens Charity Theatre Collections Program.
Each summer since the Theatre Collections Program started in 1949, participating Showcase Cinemas movie theaters show a Jimmy Fund trailer before the feature film begins. Then, volunteers and theatre personnel invite patrons to contribute to the Jimmy Fund by passing around canisters. In 2007, movie audiences gave more than $650,000.
With your help as a volunteer, we can raise even more this year. Volunteers are needed each weekend from June 13 to August 3 during a range of four-hour shifts at your local movie theater.
